| Information diffusion has a very important impact on epidemic spreading.When diseases occur in the population,there will be the spreading of disease-related awareness information in online social networks.The existence of such awareness information will enable people in social contact networks to take a series of measures,such as wearing masks,vaccinating and so on,to resist the invasion of the virus,thereby reducing the probability of being infected by the virus.In the multiplex networks composed of online social network and social contact network,due to the difference of sensitivity among different individuals,individuals with high sensitivity tend to disseminate the awareness information of the existence of epidemics.Individuals with low sensitivity tend to ignore the existence of relevant awareness information.At the same time,the existence of mass-media also affects the probability of individual disseminating awareness information.Therefore,considering the individual sensitivity and the influence of mass media,this paper proposes a new multiplex model to study the spread of virus and awareness information.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Considering the individual sensitivity and the transmission rate of awareness information,a transmission model of information and virus interaction on multiple networks is proposed.Using continuous time Markov process,the effects of individual sensitivity and information transmission rate on epidemic spreading were studied.The results show that the spreading of information in online social networks can improve the threshold of epidemic spreading in the social contact layer of multiple networks,and the scale of epidemic spreading becomes smaller.When the spreading rate of epidemic in social contact layer is low,the higher the individual sensitivity,the smaller the final scale of epidemic transmission.(2)Based on the above model,a multi-network communication model considering the influence of mass media and the probability of node forgetting is proposed.The results show that mass media can influence the scale of epidemic spreading in the social contact layer of multiplex networks,accelerate the spread of awareness information in online social networks,increase the threshold of epidemic spreading,and reduce the final scale of virus outbreak.At the same time,the probability of forgetting delaye the spreading of awareness information which is related to the epidemic and expandethe scale of epidemic spreading to a certain extent.(3)In real life,there are two coupling modes in online social networks and social contactnetworks: assortative and disassortative.Considering the sensitivity of individuals and the influence of mass media,this paper studies the influence of assortative and disassortative coupling on awareness information and epidemic spreading in multiplex networks.The results show that the assortative coupling mode speeds up the dissemination rate of awareness information in online social networks,makes the awareness scale of consciousness information dissemination reach steady state earlier,enlarges the awareness scale of consciousness information dissemination,and reduces the scale of epidemic outbreak.At the same time,disassortative coupling promotes the spreading of epidemics in the social contact layer. |
