The evaluation of system reliability indices becomes a significant issue.The published researches on the system reliability function estimation has neglected an important and reasonable terms——subsystem owns the same failure mechanism.This paper studies the statistical inference problems of the reliability function in series and parallel system considering to the same failure mechanism of subsystem.This paper mainly studies two problems.One is that the estimation of parameters with common coefficient of variation is better than without that condition.Meanwhile,take common life distribution as examples,presents the new point estimation and confidence interval.The other is for life type random variables,the same system failure mechanism equals the same CV.Applied to the series and parallel systems consist of four common life distributions,the estimation of system reliability considering the same failure mechanism is much better and reasonable.This paper also illustrates the effectiveness of the method by Monte-Carlo simulation.In this paper,the research confirms that the innovation idea that using the condition of unchanged subsystem failure mechanisms could make better statistical inference,which owns both theoretical significance and practical application value.
