The brain is the most important and complex organ in the human body.It maintains the activities of people's language,movement,learning,thinking,emotions,and memory.Studies have shown that the brain often complete the processing of external or internal information by cooperating with anatomically separated brain regions,which is defined functional connectivity.Many scholars have found that the human brain also has a stable low-frequency fluctuation mode in the resting state,and that forms a reliable resting state brain functional connectivity,which specifically forms many intrinsic functional networks,such as language networks,auditory networks,default networks,motion networks,visual networks,etc.For the study of resting state functional connections,the Pearson correlation coefficient method and Kendall coefficient of concordace are often used to calculate functional connections between different regions of interest(ROI)or seed points.This method shows a certain degree of reliability,but also there are deficiencies in this method.For example,The pearson correlation coefficient has a good effect on linear systems obeying binary Gaussian distribution,but it has poor effects on nonlinear components in brain functional signals.The Kendall coefficient of concordace can effectively deal with nonlinear components in brain functional signals,while this method is not as efficient as the pearson correlation coefficient when it deals with linear components.In view of this,In order to establish the functional connectivity model more efficiently and accurately,this study firstly establish the brain functional connectivity network models based on the order statistics correlation coefficient.Then,The lateralization of the language network is studied based on this model,Finally,Taking seafarers as an example,this paper discusses the effect of vocational dependence on the change of lateralization of the language network.The research framework of this paper is as follows: Firstly,the validity of the functional connectivity based on the order statistics correlation coefficient is verified by comparing the brain functional network derived from the functional connectivity method based on the order statistics correlation coefficient with that derived from the functional connectivity method based on the pearson correlation coefficient.Then the reliability of brain language network based on the order statistics correlation coefficient is discussed and compared with that based on the pearson correlation coefficient.For the Wernicke area,the brain regions show high reliability are highly consistent between two methods,For the Broca region,the two methods have only a partial similarity,and the two methods can complement each other.Next,the brain language functional network for each subject were constructed and the lateralization of the brain language functional network were researched.Finally,Take 20 seafarer subjects and 20 control subjects for example,the effect of occupation on the the lateralization of the brain language functional networ was discussed.This paper first studies the superiority and effectiveness of brain functional connectivity based on the order statistics correlation coefficient,and further demonstrates its reliability in the lateralization of brain linguistic functional network,and particularly portrays the plasticity of occupational dependent brain linguistic functional network.This research will provide a new analytical tool for functional connectivity,and provide knowledge accumulation for understanding asymmetry of the linguistic functional network.
