This article carries on in-depth study on water droplets diffusion of overflow atomization based on the WRF numerical model.The main research contents can be divided into the following three aspects.(1)Build water droplets diffusion model of overflow atomization.According to the theory of turbulent diffusion,use second-order finite difference explicit method,generalize the overflow atomization fog source to a distribution point source in the vertical direction,solve a set of advection-diffusion-sedimentation equations on a structured terrain following grid,then build a 3D time-dependent overflow atomization water droplets Euler diffusion model.The results show,through this model,the water droplets diffusion process during overflow atomization can be well simulated,and obtain the overflow atomization range and rainfall intensity distribution though that.(2)Numerical Simulation Study on the Fog Source of Overflow Atomization.Use water droplets diffusion model,from the perspective of the fog source,it has set up 3 kinds of drop spectrum,3 kinds of source strength,4 kinds of fog source heights,so that under different drop spectrums,different source strengths,different source heights of fog source,simulation study the overflow atomization range and rainfall intensity downstream of the high dam.Results:obtain preliminary the influence of the characteristics of the fog source on the overflow atomization range and the rain intensity,that is,the higher the source height,the larger the overflow atomization range;the source strength is stronger,the overflow atomization range and the rainfall intensity are greater;the larger the water droplets diameter,the smaller the atomization influence range.(3)Simulation Study on Water Droplets Diffusion of Ertan and Jinping I High Dam.Use WRF numerical mode,combining with Nudging relaxation assimilation method,assimilate the physical parameters of the flood discharge to the analysis field,to simulate the dam area wind field during the overflow atomization,then in the local environment where the wind field and other weather fields are close to the actual working conditions,according to the built water droplets diffusion model,carry on numerical simulation study on water droplets diffusion of Ertan and Jinping I High dam.The results show,the size and direction of the wind speed and the influence range of water tongue wind after assimilation obtained by Nudging relaxation assimilation method are more in line with the actual situation.And the simulation calculation results of atomization range and rainfall intensity of overflow atomization of Ertan and Jinping I high dam are basically consistent with the prototype observation results.
