In 2016,as the first year of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan",the city's air quality has been continuously improved during this year, through the joint efforts of relevant departments in Beijing. However, the current air pollution in Beijing is still a serious problem. The haze still affects people's production and life in different level. In addition, due to the influence of terrain and seasonal distribution, atmospheric pollutants will spread to surrounding cities,so that air pollution will be regionally accumulated.Considering the spatial dependence of air pollution in Beijing and surrounding areas, and the spatial dependence of this geographical location makes the sample independence assumption required by classical statistical methods not established, this paper uses the method of spatial statistics to explore the air quality problems in Beijing. This paper first briefly introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of spatial statistics.Based on the AQI data of various districts and counties in Beijing, the selection of spatial weight matrix is explored. It is concluded that the method of determining the weight by the inverse distance weighting method is more accurate.Secondly, the paper introduces the current situation of air quality in Beijing, then the common regression model and the spatial autoregressive model are compared and analyzed by comparing the main air quality influencing factors and related parameters. It is concluded that the spatial error model in the spatial autoregressive model should be used to analyze the factors affecting Beijing's air quality.Thirdly, the air quality status of Beijing and surrounding cities is compared and analyzed, using the spatial statistical methods to find that air pollution in Beijing and surrounding cities has formed a high-value spatial aggregation phenomenon. At the same time, the paper analyzes the air quality status of various districts and counties in Beijing, and uses spatial statistics to find that the air pollution in all districts and counties in Beijing has a certain spatial agglomeration throughout the year.Among them,Yanqing District with its surrounding districts and counties formed low-value gathering areas, while Daxing District formed high-value gathering areas, and the spatial distribution of each district and county was different due to seasonal influence. Finally, combined with the above conclusions, the rationalization suggestions for improving the air quality in Beijing are proposed.
