In UHV transmission line-tower system,the tower is a kind of rigid space truss structure.The ground wire and the cable are a kind of flexible suspension structure,which makes the system has strong geometric non-linear characteristics.The calculation usually requires non-linear iterative solution.The process is complex.Select the appropriate simplified method to simplify the transmission tower can greatly reduce the amount of computation and save computing time.The equivalent tensile stiffness,bending stiffness,torsional stiffness and additional mass of the 2E-SJ1 transmission tower are calculated.The accurate truss-beam model and simplified beam-column model are established by ANSYS software.The static analysis and modal analysis are carried out to verify the accuracy of the simplified model.Through the comparative analysis of the simplified model and the accurate model,it is found that the simplified method of the original beam-column model has the disadvantages of the additional quality distribution method.The new simplified model can guarantee a higher accuracy both in static analysis and modal analysis.
