Panzhihua iron ore deposit and Hongge iron deposit belong to the two super-large iron deposits on Panzhihua-Xichang metallogenic belt.Tectonic position in the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the western edge of the Yangtze platform.They are known for their Giant vanadium-titanium magnetite.In this paper we mainly compare and analyzed the magmatic rock activity sequence,ore-bearing rock mass characteristics,ore body characteristics,ore characteristics and associated trace elements,geochemical characteristics of rock of the two deposits.Summarizing the commonness and difference of the two deposits and relationship between them.By summarizing and comparing the magma activity sequences of two deposit.The magmatic rocks in the two mines are slightly different.In the Panzhihua mining area,the light-shaped gabbro veins with high content of plagioclase can be seen and penetrated into the late formation of dark gabbro and ore bodies.Gabbro activity.In the Hongge mining area,two types of syenite veins are traversed into the early formation of rock mass and ore body.The inclusions in the positive syndromes are visible in the residual rock mass and ore body.Changyan magmatic activities should be carried out with iron ore pulp activity in the same period.By summarizing and comparing the characteristics of the ore-bearing rocks in the two mines,The rhythm stratum of the ore-bearing gabbro in the mining area of the Panzhihua mining area is more obvious than that in the Hongge mining area.The red ore mining area and the ore body are more similar to the basin-like features.The composition of ultramafic rocks(pyroxenite,peridotite)and gabbro is obviously different from that of Panzhihua rock.The gabbro is dominated by gabbro only.At the junction of the two rocks,And the underlying strata at the junction of the weak structure of the iron ore body are the main occurrence of the site.By summarizing and comparing the characteristics of the ore body in the two mines,The ore bodies in the two mining areas are mainly divided into two types: the crystal-divergent iron-rich ore body and the penetrating iron-rich orebody.The shape of the ore body in the Panzhihua mining area is obvious,the thickness of the strata is stable,Was horizontal discontinuity,the emergence of discontinuous,stratified features are not obvious,the whole was pot-shaped,multi-basin-like.There are rock and ore bodies in the lower part of the single rock basin,which has the characteristics of multi-stage magma room,the second ore-finding space of the deep magma room Hongge mining area,and the iron ore body in Panzhihua and Hongge mining areas are controlled by magma channel Features.By summarizing and comparing the characteristics of ore,it is suggested that there may be similar genesis and metallogenic background in both mining areas.The two evolutionary trends of the two-zone iron-rich ore and lean ore indicate that they can be formed in different magmatic evolutionary environments.The Hongge ore mining area is more rich in Cr and Ni than in the Panzhihua mining area,which is very important for the comprehensive utilization of the beneficial components in the process of ore dressing.The large-scale copper-nickel sulfide deposits in Hongge mining area are different from Panzhihua mining area.The basic magma of Hongge mining area has undergone the separation process of copper-nickel sulfide,which also shows the different magmatic evolution process in the two mines.By summarizing and comparing the geochemical characteristics of the two rocks,The mafic-ultramafic intrusions in the gabbro and Hongge mining areas of the Panzhihua mining area belong to the calc-alkaline series of alkaline-subalbine transition(slightly alkaline),but the correlation between MgO and major oxides It is shown that the degree of crystal differentiation of the rock mass in the Panzhihua mining area is higher than that in the Hongge mining area.The two rocks have similar trace elements and rare earth elements.The large ion lithophile Ba is relatively enriched and the high field strength elements Th,U The rare earth elements enrich the heavy rare earth elements,trace elements and rare earth elements similar to the trend of change,showing the characteristics of homogeneous magma products,Panzhihua and Hongge mine iron ore deposits should be homologous magma different evolution process products.
