The vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit of hongge in Sichuan provence is located in the inner belt Emei large igneous province,the deposit located in iron metallogenic belt in Panxi region that is China's largest reserves of vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit and is called "Panzhihua" type iron deposit by scholars,.So far,the deposit has been intensive studied by former people,but genetic mechanism and types still controversial.In this paper,through the study of regional geological background,spatial form of rocks and ore bodies,chemical composition of rock and ore minerals and geochemical characteristics,and combine with the results of previous studies,and the author has the following understanding:The Deposit orebodies form is very complex,not simply layered,main ore-body shapes include bedded and lenticular;basin and pots orebody occurence as irregular form along magma channel.Vanadium-titanium magnetite ore bodies originate in mafic-ultramafic rocks,and the rock associated with a large number of Permian Emeishan basalts,syenite and granite.Emeishan basalt and the same period of basic-ultrabasic rocks should be the product of homologous phase.The ore bodys genesis include deep iron fluid penetration type,late magmatic crystallization profiled iron ore and fluid penetration-type iron-cobalt-nickel ore.Among them,the penetration of ore and rock type mutation was contacting relationship,crystallization of the ore body and surrounding rock was shaped gradient contacting relationship.Main ore types including: olives-pyroxenite iron ores that gangue minerals are pyroxene,olivine,plagioclase,hornblende,etc;gabbro-type iron ores,which gangue mineral composited by gabbro minerals assemblage,with the feature of gabbro structure;massive iron-rich,contained small amounts of gangue minerals that are plagioclase,hornblende,biotite and sulfide.Eruption or emplacement within the sequence of various types of rock deposits are: microcrystalline gabbro,gabbroporphyrite,basalt ? gabbroic disseminated ores ? olives pyroxenite,pyroxenite,massive iron ? syenite ore(veins)? diabase,gabbro porphyry minor ? granite.Crystallization time titanomagnetite and ilmenite and hornblende rather,the iron-titanium oxide-rich ore body after olivine and pyroxene crystals and often intimately associated with hornblende;disseminated iron ore of in gabbro,the iron-titanium oxide is generally a crystalline mineral latest,intimately associated with hornblende and hornblende interludes.In mafic rocks,most rock samples showed high Ti characteristics.REE and trace element characteristics for various types of rocks and minerals have very similar,reflecting the evolution of magma homologous series of product features.Mining gabbro class Fe,Ti,V and other elements of negative anomalies and mineralization positive anomalies exist is "Panzhihua style" Iron deposits.Ore evolutionary trend of Co description rich iron ore and lean ore(iron rock)fored at different magmatic evolution environment.
