The invasion of alien plants is a serious threat to global biodiversity which causes serious damage to the natural ecology and economic environment in the invaded habitats. In recent years, the amount of invasive plants in Anhui Province has been increasing, which has seriously affected the natural and economic conditions of Anhui Province. The invasion of alien plants is confirmed to be affected by many factors.Current researches are confined to the analysis of the characteristics of invasive plant species in different regions of Anhui Province but the distribution and the differences in invasive species from different regions and their origins are not certified. Therefore, combining the characteristics of cities to analyze the relationship between different cities and to clarify the differences in different alien invasive plants among different environmental regions,I established a list of invasive plants which caused damage in Anhui Province with previous literature and field investigations in this study. To better clarify the relationship between invasion and soil environment, based on the status of invasive plants in Anhui Province, the differences of soil nutrients between invasive and non-invasive plants were analyzed and the correlation between soil environment and invasive plants in Anhui Province was explored through meta-analysis and statistical methods.(1)There are 158 invasive alien plants in Anhui Province, belonging to 40 families and 102 genera,of which 25 genera and 36 species of Asteraceae are the most dominant families(accounting for 22.78%),followed by the Amaranthaceae(3 genera and 15 species, accounting for 9.49%),the Fabaceae(8 genera and 14 species, accounting for 8.86%).Among all invasive plants, the most alien plants come from America, accounting for 57.23%;followed by those from Europe, accounting for 27.11%.On aspect of pathways,95 species were intentionally introduced, accounting for 61.3%,of which the ornamental flowers occupied the largest proportion(50.53%),followed by medicinal materials(20.05%)and feed crops(15.79%).Besides,38.7%species were unintentionally introduced,of which the most were introduced by transportation. For the time of introduction, the proportion of invasive plants was the highest in modern times, reaching 39.45%,followed by those in ancient time(32.63%).The main habitat types of invasion were five types:"roadside, wasteland","forest, shrub","inland waters, wetlands","grassland, urban green space"."farmland, tillage land"of habitats, accounting for 75.46%.(2)The number of invasive species was gradually decreasing from southeast to northwest in Anhui province, and there were more invasive species in the cities from the mountain area of South Anhui and Yanjiang Plain, while the number of invasive species in the plain of Northern Anhui was relatively small, but the difference of the number of invasive species was relatively small in different cities.Even though the area of different cities was several times different, the invasive situation they were facing was very close.Among 158 alien invasive plants in Anhui Province,47 species belonging to 37 genera and 22 families invaded 1 to 5 cities, accounting for 29.75%;15 species belonging to 13 genera and 10 families invaded 6 to 10 cities, accounting for 9.49%;only two species(Melilotus alba and Veronica arvensis L.)invaded 11 to 15 cities, accounting for 1.27%;94 species belonging to 70 families and 27 genera invaded all 16 cities, accounting for 59.49%of the total invasive species.(3)By analyzing the biological characteristics of invasive plants in different envir-onmental regions of Anhui Province,it was found that the invasive plants in he mountain area of South Anhui and Yanjiang Plain were comparatively similar, the invasive plants in the plain of Northern Anhui and Jianghuai area were comparatively similar, and the species characteristics of invasive plants in central Anhui and the Dabie mountain were between them. There were obvious differences in plant height, seed germination rate, flower and fruit duration between North and south. In different cities of Anhui Province, the annual average temperature was from 15.80℃ to 17.60℃,the annual average precipitation was from 804.13mm to 1903.70mm and per capita GDP(yuan/person)of different cities in Anhui Province was from 19883 to 92593,which had obvious differences among cities in Anhui. The influence of the three factors on the number of invasive species was analyzed by the generalized linear models. The results of Correlogram showed that the annual average precipitation and per capita GDP had a strong influence on the number of invasive species, and the temperature had a relatively low impact on the number of invasive species.(4)Web of science was used to search the literature related to alien invasive plants and soil environment. After screening,a total of 303 groups of data were extracted for analysis. The results showed that the soil nutrients in the invasive areas were higher than those in the non-invasive areas. In Meta analysis, the results of N,P and K analysis were significant(P<0.001),but the results of C and pH were not statistically significant. The results of statistical analysis were consistent with those of Meta analysis, that is,the soil nutrients in invasive areas are relatively higher than those in non-invasive areas for alien plants.
