Beijing Dongling Mountain is typical warm temperate zonecontinental monsoon climate. The vegetation,the warm temperate zone broad leaf forest,liaodongli constitute the dominant or even edificator species,contributing to the construction of forest vegetation.This study using the means of non-typical sampling seted up a 5hm2 root pattern. This study choosed the four environmental factor indices and five species diversity indices processing a systemic study of connection between species diverdity and habitat diversity.they are mean-elevation,slope,convex and forest-phase separately and Simpson,Shannon-Wiener,Pielou,hill and important value separately.It was suggested in result that:1.The changes of Simpson,Shannon-Wiener,Pielou and hill indices along each of environmental factors gradient. The result indicated that four indices not striking change as the environmental factors gradient change, however those indices had fluctuation at several environmental factors gradient zones. Slope and aspect were the main reason. In addition, The change of water and heat conditions and disturbance intensity also had influence on species diversity.2. A multi-scale contrast ofαdiversity of two 20m×20m plots at 1309m and13 97m mean-elevation showed Because the dimensions enlarge,αdiversity growth velocity of the low elevation tall tree compares high elevation big. In all scales,diversity index number of the low elevation is bigger in the high elevation district. Low elevation haves more habitat diversity. In spite of in the low elevation be still in the high elevation,diversity index number all didn't enter a tranquilization, also be reach to a cluster of fall of dimensions boundary,may be because of the dimensions of the sampling is not enough to result.3.Using TWINSPAN and CCA,we analyed species composition and community structure of mixed forests based on random sample 50 plots from 130 plots.Community structures of all the oak forests were simple but varied greatly in different communities.The results of TWINSPAN classification indicated that these 50 plots were clustered into 8 groups based on the flora composition of canopy layer.CCA ordination demonstrated a significant relationship between Axis 1 and forest-phase, Axis 2 showed significant correlation with altitude and convex.The consistent results of classification and ordination emphasized the importance of environmental factors in shaping community strueture and species composition.
