Most of the fastest economic development in China is in coastal areas.Land resources have become a constraint factor for local economic development.Many coastal cities have started large-scale land reclamation projects.The backfill has the characteristics of uneven soil quality,high compressibility,large settlement and small bearing capacity.In addition,the natural soft soil in the reclamation area is underconsolidated soil with large thickness,which has a great impact on the engineering construction.The survey of land reclamation area is more difficult because of the complex and changeable strata and deep backfill.Therefore,the key to find out the engineering geological conditions of such sites and provide accurate design parameters and reasonable suggestions for design and construction is to select appropriate survey methods.The land area formed after reclamation is essentially different from the natural land foundation in terms of settlement,immersion environment and so on,which leads to a series of problems such as uneven settlement of buildings,foundation slip and so on.The foundation selection of reclamation land area has become the most important factor to control the quality and safety of engineering.In the research work,the characteristics of land reclamation area,the application of pile foundation,the drilling technology of deep filling site and the development status of prefabricated square piles at home and abroad are extensively consulted.Based on the site conditions and engineering conditions of the deep backfill project in Huludao coastal area,the selection of drilling equipment and construction technology are analyzed concretely.According to theresults of geotechnical engineering investigation,through comprehensive analysis of the feasibility and economy of the foundation form,the most suitable foundation form is put forward,and the feasibility of the foundation form is verified by the field single pile vertical compressive static load test.The problems of deep filling drilling and foundation selection in the reclamation area are solved,which provides a reference for similar projects in Huludao and other adjacent areas.Using FLAC3D finite difference software to carry out numerical simulation,establish a single pile model,analyze the settlement of pile top under different vertical loads,and compare with the data of field single pile vertical compressive static load test,providing a reference for the adoption of pile foundation engineering scheme and design.
