In recent years, the offshore wind power industry has developed rapidly.Bohai Sea has become the focus of wind power industry in China due to its high wind density, huge wind energy reserve, good grid condition and high demand for energy. However, for high latitude sea area, there is often a large area of sea ice in winter, which makes the offshore structures in the Bohai Sea facing the threats caused by sea ice.Ensuring the safe and continuous operation has become a key issue of offshore wind power de-velopment in cold regions.Under this background, this paper uses the method of com-bining model test and numerical simulation to study a high-pile cap foundation of off-shore wind power in the Bohai Sea.In the model test, reasonable test cases were set according to the site conditions of sea ice.In the test, the time histories of ice load under different ice speeds and angles were recorded. The extremum and average of ice force in different test cases were de-fined.In the numerical simulation study, the model test results were converted to pro-totype data and applied to the high-pile cap foundation as ice load input.Transient dy-namic analysis was subsequently carried out.In the analysis of the calculation results, the differences of the response under static ice force and dynamic ice force are com-pared.Two important factors were established to reflect the dynamic response charac-teristics of the structure. One was the relative displacement extreme of the tower top and the foundation top(T),and the other was the relative dynamic amplification factor of the tower top and the foundation top(D_S).Through the analysis of these two factors,it could be obtained that under the dynamic ice load, there were a very significant dy-namic amplification effect at the top of the tower. At the same time, this paper analyzed and evaluated the impact of high-pile cap foundation of offshore wind power on the safety under the action of dynamic ice force. The structural design should consider the influence of ice-induced vibration and ensure the operating efficiency of the system. The study results of this paper would provide references for the application of high-pile cap foundation of offshore wind power in the Bohai Sea and the design of anti-icing components.
