As the climate warms, the permafrost in the greater hinggan mountains in Inner Mongolia disappears or recedes to the north. The degradation of permafrost will lead to the rapid evaporation of available water in the soil, which will lead to the deterioration of the ecological environment in the cold region.Taking the permafrost area of the greater hinggan mountains in Inner Mongolia as the research object, this paper studies the distribution trend of permafrost degradation and the distribution characteristics of soil moisture in the permafrost area. The results are as follows:1.From 1981 to 2017,the temperature and ground temperature in the greater hinggan mountains permafrost region of Inner Mongolia continued to increase.Through the simulation analysis of the change trend of permafrost in the study area,it is concluded that the permafrost gradually degenerates and the south boundary of permafrost gradually migrates to the north.2.Analyze the applicability of multi-source soil moisture data in the greater hingan mountains region of Inner Mongolia, and conclude that the applicability is,in order,CLDAS>CCI>era-interim.The surface(0?10cm)soil moisture and the deep(0-40cm)soil moisture in the study area are generally high in the north and low in the south.Through the analysis of the relationship between permafrost degradation and surface soil moisture,it is found that there is a negative correlation in the south, southeast, northwest and northeast of the study area,a positive correlation in the central region, and a weak correlation or no correlation in the northern region. In the relationship with deep soil moisture, negative correlation was found in the south, northeast and southwest regions of the study area, positive correlation was found in the central region, and weak correlation or no correlation was found in the north, north and northwest regions.3.There was a positive correlation between ndvi and surface soil moisture(0-10cm),and a negative correlation between ndvi and surface soil moisture(0-10cm),and a negative correlation between ndvi and deep soil moisture(0-40cm).In the northern part of the study area, the deciduous coniferous forest has high soil moisture, followed by mixed forest, shrub, agricultural land and natural vegetation. From the relationship between altitude and surface and deep soil moisture,it can be found that the average soil moisture increases with the elevation, decreases with the slope, the south slope has lower soil moisture, and the north slope has higher soil moisture.
