The dynamic process of high speed micro-jet accompanied by liquid cavitation induced by pulsed laser and its enhancement of biological hard tissue ablation effect are yet not clear.In this paper,the flow dynamics of the collapsing micro-jet and the characteristics of cavitation assisted bone tissue ablation in liquid environment were studied.The real-time monitor of cavitation effect induced by Ho:YAG laser in water medium and the dynamic process of bone hard tissue ablation were conducted by using high-speed camera system.The micro-characteristics of the micro-jet formation during bubble collapse were extracted,and the evolution of collapsing micro-jet under different? parameters was revealed.Based on the Rayleigh equation the migration characteristics of cavitation bubble,the formation time and the impact characteristics of collapsing micro-jet,as well as the dynamic behavior of the interaction of collapsing micro-jet with bone hard tissue were studied morphology of ablation incision of biological hard tissue was analyzed by OCT and stereoscopic microscope.The results are of great significance and for exploring the effect of liquid assisted on hard tissue ablation and provide new knowledge of laser-induced micro-jet and its ablation characteristics.
