China has a vast territory,complex geological environment,frequent geological disasters such as collapse,landslides,mudslides,land subsidence,ground subsidence and ground fissures.A large number of property losses and casualties are caused each year due to various types of geological disasters.Monitoring and early warning of geological disasters can effectively reduce the losses caused by geological disasters,which is of great significance.As a result,various disaster monitoring and early warning technologies have been vigorously developed.This paper analyzes the shortcomings of existing geological disaster monitoring methods and develops a remote geological environment data acquisition device based on Beidou RDSS.The device can collect the geological environment data of the monitored area,and transmit the data to the cloud platform and the server through 4G data communication and Beidou RDSS communication.The main contents and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Developed a remote geological environment data acquisition device based on Beidou RDSS.The device has RS-232 interface,RS-485 interface,analog voltage input interface and ZigBee wireless interface,which can connect various geological environment monitoring sensors,and transmit the collected sensor data to Beidou RDSS receiving server through Beidou RDSS communication.At the same time,it is transmitted to the OneNet cloud platform through 4G communication.(2)In view of the shortcomings of the existing geological disaster monitoring device's single data transmission mode,the device uses Beidou RDSS communication and 4G communication to simultaneously transmit the collected sensor data.Since Beidou RDSS communication uses satellite to communicate,data transmission can still be completed in the place where there is no mobile communication network signal,which greatly expands the application range of the device.(3)The embedded software development of the remote geological environment data acquisition device based on Beidou RDSS was completed.Embedded software is written in a modular way,improving stability and maintainability.The software implementation of the Beidou short message communication protocol used in Beidou RDSS communication and the MQTT protocol used in 4G communication was implemented.The remote geological environment data acquisition device based on Beidou RDSS developed by this project has been applied in some hidden danger points of geological disasters in Guizhou Province,and the actual effect is good.The device has the characteristics of rich functions,high communication reliability,wide application scenarios,and low cost.It has improved the ability to monitor and warn geological disasters and has broad application prospects.
