Effect Of Pyroligneous Acid Co-applied With Chicken Manure On Ameliorating Coastal Saline Soils

Pot culture experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure on coastal saline soil.In this study,different proportion of pyroligneous acid(pyroligneous acid concentrate and water volume is:0,1:100,1:50 and 1:20,namely,P0,P1,P2 and P3.The application of pyroligneous acid were 7.5 t time-1·hm-2.)and different content of chicken manure(0,45.0,112.5,and 225.0 t·hm-2,namely,C0,C1,C2 and C3.)were applied to improve the chemical property and enzyme activity of coastal saline soils and the biological characteristic of Suaeda salsa.The results showed that:(1)The nutrient concentrations of coastal saline soil were increased after the application of pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure,and the effect of increasing was more significant with more chicken manure.In all treatments,the concentrations of soil organic matter,total nitrogen and available potassium under the treatment of C3P3 were the highest,and the concentrations of soil dissolved organic carbon,dissolved organic nitrogen,ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen were the highest under the treatment of C3P1.In addition,the concentrations of soil organic matter,total nitrogen and available phosphorus were respectively greater than 10.00,0.40 g·kg-1 and 19.00 mg·kg-1 under the treatment of C2(the application amount of chicken manure were 45.0 t·hm-2),while they could improved fertility of the soil.(2)Coastal saline soils pH value was significantly reduced by applying pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure,and the effect of decreasing was more significant with more pyroligneous acid and less chicken manure.Compared with C0P0,the pH value were significantly reduced 0.74 units under the treatment of C1P2 and C1P3.The concentrations of salt and ion were decreased under the treatment of CO and C1(the application amount of chicken manure were 0 and 45 t·hm-2).(3)The application of pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure could significantly improve soil enzyme activities.The activities of soil ?-glucosidase,?-glucosidase,glucosaminidase,leucine aminopeptidase,acid phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase showed firstly increased and then decreased trend,the activities of soil polyphenol oxidase and dehydrogenase were significantly increased with more pyroligneous acid.The enzyme activities of soil were significantly increased with more chicken manure.(4)Dry weight,fresh weight and plant height as well as the concentrations of Na+ and K+ of Suaeda salsa were significantly increased by applying pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure.Compared with COPO,dry weight,fresh weight and plant height of Suaeda salsa were the highest under the treatment of C3P1 among all treatments,they were significantly increased respectively by 252.75%,116.51%and 53.77%.On the whole,the application of appropriate pyroligneous acid co-applied with chicken manure can not only improve nutrients content,enzyme activities of soil,reduce the pH value,the content of salt and ion of soil,also they can promote the growth and accumulation of potassium and sodium salsa of Suaeda salsa,so as to further reduce the sodium and potassium ion content of soil.Among all the treatments,the application amount of chicken manure was 45.0 t·hm-2,pyroligneous acid and water volume ratio were 1:100 or 1:50 had the significant effect on ameliorating coastal saline soils.
