With the rapid development of spatial information technology in the age of big data,the quantity and scale of geospatial data are becoming increasingly large.The establishment of geospatial data model is the basis of explaining geological phenomena,simulating geological processes and carrying out spatial analysis,by using the interdisciplinary theories and technologies such as statistics,geoscience and computer science,3D visualization modeling and data analysis of geospatial data has been carried out,and a 3D visualization software platform is developed for spatial data statistics and analysis,which plays an important role in improving the intuition and accuracy of geospatial data processing.Based on data feature analysis,spatial model design,visualization method and spatial analysis algorithm,a series 3D visualization modeling method for geospatial data are established,and a 3D visualization software platform with spatial analysis operation is developed.The research results will effectively improve the efficiency of 3D modeling and spatial analysis for geospatial data,which reveal good theoretical significance and practical application value.The main research contents of this dissertation are as follows:1.Through the analysis of the basic feature of geospatial data,the 3D spatial characteristic and the characteristic of massive,multi-scale,multi-dimensional and unstructured are elaborated;Considering the characteristics of various visualization techniques and geospatial data,VTK graphics library is selected as the visualization toolkit.2.Point model,line model,facial model(mainly including TIN model,GRID model,etc.)and volumetric model(mainly including triangular-prism model,hexahedron model,etc.)are studied,then relevant data structure and visual modeling method are designed according to the feature of geospatial data.3.Based on the 3D visualization model of geospatial data,the general voxel mesh model clipping algorithm is studied,the spatial interpolation algorithm and RF-Kriging prediction algorithm are designed,which effectively improve the ability of visualization modelling and spatial data analysis.4.According to the software engineering method,a 3D visualization software platform is designed based on Visual Studio 2012 development environment and MFC framework,which realizes visualization construction,management,editing,operation and expression of geospatial data,and finally real geospatial data is presented in this 3D visualization software platform.
