With the rapid development of the forestry informational technology,the wireless sensor has been widely researched and applied in precision forestry.However,the complex environment of forest region makes the problem of charging wireless sensors in forests become difficult.Thermoelectric power generation will overcome the difficulty.The soil is a huge reservation of thermal energy.Due to the poor soil thermal conductivity and the effect of atmospheric temperature,there are temperature differences between the forest soil of different depths,which provide the temperature difference.In order to find the changing laws to provide bases for the design of thermoelectric power generator,monitoring the temperature and the moisture of forest soil for a long period is necessary.Concrete results of the study are as follows:1.The monitoring system of soil temperature and moisture is developed and maintained.The data for a long period are collected,which are accurate to one decimal place.2.Based on the experiment data,the seasonal changing laws of the multi-layer soil temperature are explored,so do the daily changing laws.The study found that the conversion time of the forest soil is between the end of September and early October.Since then,the temperature of deep soil will be higher than that of shallow soil.There are temperature differences between the deep soil and the shallow soil,which can provide necessary conditions for thermoelectric power generation.In late November,the temperature difference between the 1.2m layer and the surface is 7.1-9.5 ?.In December,the temperature difference maintained 8.7-10 ?.The temperature difference become more obvious,which can provide good conditions for thermoelectric power generation.3.Based on the experiment data,the seasonal changing laws of the multi-layer soil moisture and the influence of weather on the moisture of multi-layer soil are explored.The study found that:As a result of the obstacles of soil,the response to environmental factors of the deeper soil moisture have a time delay.4.The relationship of the depth?temperature and moisture with three-dimensional surface figure is expressed via MATLAB software.Then use the Origin software to make the regression analysis of the collected data,accordingly obtained multi-layer soil temperature's vertical distribution laws of each seasons.
