The middle tectonic belt of the quasi-southern margin mainly includes the Qigu fault zoning belt and the Huomatu anticline belt, which is rich in resources and has great exploration potential. It is an important oil and gas source area in China.Since the beginning of the last century, many scholars at home and abroad have come to investigate. The exploration history for many years shows that although the oil and gas resources in this area are very large, under the influence of multi-phase tectonic movements such as Yanshan and Xishan, the hydrocarbon accumulation conditions in this area are more complicated,so the selection of exploration targets is difficult. In order to ensure the development of oil and gas exploration in the middle section of the quasi-southern margin,it is necessary to speed up the research on its hydrocarbon accumulation process, clarify the hydrocarbon accumulation model in the study area, and clarify the exploration objectives. In view of the current research results of exploration, this paper studies the accumulation conditions, accumulation patterns, spatial and temporal distribution of oil and gas reservoirs on the basis of collating and absorbing previous research results, and on the existing seismic data, drilling wells and analytical data. The main controlling factors, etc.,focused on the hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and accumulation process of the Qigu fault zoning belt and the Huomatu anticline in the study area.By aligning the source rocks, the reservoir-caprock combination and the oil and gas transmission system of the ancient fault-refraction zone and the Huomatu anticline, combined with the typical oil and gas reservoir anatomy in the middle section of the quasi-southern margin, the hydrocarbon accumulation process in the study area is clarified. And the main controlling factors and accumulation mode of hydrocarbon accumulation.Through the analysis of the oil and gas accumulation patterns of the Qigu anticline reservoir, the Hutubi gas reservoir and the Huoerguosi anticline reservoir in the study area, the Qigu fault zoning zone and the Huomatu anticline zone in the study area are obtained. The main controlling factors of reservoir formation are the rational allocation between faults,high-quality reservoirs and regional caprocks. At the same time, based on the study of sedimentary facies in the study area, the study of hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and accumulation process, the evaluation criteria of exploration potential are established, and the favorable reservoir zones in the study area are predicted and evaluated. The favorable exploration zones in the study area are divided into three categories: 1 resource expansion zone, namely class I,mainlyincluding Qigu and Manasi 2 anticlines;2 strategic breakthrough zones, namely class II,mainly Including Anjihai,Tugulu and Huoerguosi three anticlines;3 potential favorable replacement areas, that is,Class III mainly includes three anticlines: Dushanzi,Hutubi and Anjihai anticlines. These anticline traps will be a favorable target area for further exploration.
