Spatial data inconsistency refers to the obvious contradiction or conflict between spatial data objects.Detecting inconsistencies is an effective way to improve spatial data quality, especially road data. This extremely important geospatial object in map data occupies an important position in the expression and application of map data, compared to other linear targets. The statement is very representative. At present, many road data inconsistencies still need to be studied, and existing methods need to be further improved. In view of this, this paper starts with the theory of spatial topology, discusses the detection and processing methods of road data topology inconsistency. To sum up,the main work and innovation of this article are reflected in the following aspects:(1)A set of rules for the determination of topological relationships between the point/area,line/line and area/area are devised. The topological relationship calculation method and program flow are described in detail, and it is based on a city's public bicycle rental point and its surrounding service range.Taking the analysis of the topological relationship as an example, the judgment of the topological relationship between the public service interest elements is achieved through rules and algorithms, and the validity of the decision rule and method in practical applications is proved.(2)Discovered by the rule of the spatial topological relationship:It is necessary to examine the topological relationship between the point/area and line/line topology at the same time to correctly determine the topological relationship between area/area targets.(3)Topological inconsistency of road intersections is analyzed, described and expressed based on the topological relation model, and the structural characteristics of road intersections are taken into account.By analyzing the topological relationships of road intersections,a description based on structured topology relationships is proposed. This method can accurately detect the inconsistencies such as the non-coincidence of the end points of the adjacent roads at the processing intersections, the excessive or inconsistent intersections.(4)The Morphing transformation method was introduced and applied to the inconsistent processing between roads and buildings. The experiment verifies the rationality and practicability of this method in dealing with the topological inconsistency between roads and buildings.
