This paper aims to clarify the influence of teaching practice on teaching design ability by studying the change of teaching design ability of a pre-service mathematics teacher after teaching practice.Based on the two-dimensional model of mathematical instructional design ability,this paper describes the ability of mathematical instructional design with three levels,and studies it by means of questionnaire,interview and text analysis.The research questions are as follows:(1)What are the teaching design abilities of pre-service teachers in educational practice?(1)How about the ability of designing teaching objectives?(2)How about the ability of teaching implementation design?(3)How about the ability of teaching evaluation design?(4)How about the knowledge of instructional design?(5)What is the belief in instructional design?(2)What is the teaching design ability of pre-service teachers after the completion of educational practice?(1)How about the ability of designing teaching objectives?(2)How about the ability of teaching implementation design?(3)How about the ability of teaching evaluation design?(4)How about the knowledge of instructional design?(5)What is the belief in instructional design?(3)How does educational practice affect the development of pre-service teachers' teaching design ability?(1)How does it affect the development of teaching goal design ability?(2)How does it affect the development of teaching design ability?(3)How does it affect the development of teaching evaluation and design ability?(4)What is the impact on the knowledge development of instructional design?(5)How does it affect the development of beliefs in instructional design?(4)What are the main factors influencing the development of pre-service teachers' teaching design ability?The conclusions are as follows:(1)The pre-service teachers' instructional design ability before and after the internship is at the middle level.(2)Educational practice promotes the development of pre-service mathematics teachers' teaching design ability,especially in the aspects of teaching implementation design ability and teaching evaluation ability.(3)Professional identity,instructors,practice base system,students in base schools and school environment are the main factors affecting the development of pre-service teachers' teaching design ability.The suggestions are as follows:(1)Attaching importance to the selection of practice bases and instructors.(2)Strengthening the accumulation of knowledge in teaching design,participating in academic seminars.(3)Cherishing the opportunities of educational practice,participating in teaching practice activities;(4)Actively participating in collective activities and cultivating positive personality.
