According to the long-term operation characteristics of the ocean current turbine power generation system,this paper proposes a modified economic model predictive control method,which optimizes the cost of using the turbine system that works on the seabed all time.By establishing a mathematical model of the ocean current turbine system,considering the gear life prediction and gearbox loss,combining with the system operating constraints,taking the the working life of the turbine as an important reference,the power generation cost of the system is reduced and the working life of the turbine is increased on the basis of increasing the power generation of the ocean current turbine.Then the responsiveness of the system is improved and the rapidity of the system is increased based on meeting the economics of the system and the premise of security.The simulation experiment proves that the modified controller provides better control effect.The contents and innovations of this paper are as follows:Firstly,for the ocean current turbine power generation system,based on the study of maximum power generation,considering the economics of the power generation process of the ocean current turbine power generation system.In order to reduce the power generation cost of the system and increase the remaining life of the turbine based on the increase of the power generation of the ocean current turbine,an economic model predictive control based ocean current turbine control system is developed.Through setting the economic indicators of the turbine system,the system is operated under the given constraints.The power generation cost of the system is considered synthetically by combining the life prediction of the turbine system gear and extent of the gearbox loss.The simulation results show that practical economical benefits and the control effect of the marine current turbine system are enhanced.Then,it is necessary to increase the rapidity of the ocean current turbine power generation system because of the limitations of the traditional economic model predictive control for solving large-scale nonlinear systems and the operational characteristics of the ocean current turbine power generation system.Therefore,this paper takes rapidity as an indicator of the power generation process of the ocean current turbine system.Based on the fast economic model predictive control method,the system's responsiveness is improved under the premise of satisfying the system safety.Taking the remaining life of the turbine as an important reference,the corresponding result is applied to the marine current turbine power generation system,and the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed strategy are demonstrated by the simulation results finally.
