Practical Research On Data Processing Of UAV Photogrammetry

With the wide application of small drone photogrammetry technology in the surveying and mapping industry,there are a variety of software for photogrammetric data processing on the market.These softwares claim to have perfect solutions for different geographic information digital products(Such as DOM,Real-world 3D model and DLG).The program has different hardware and software equipment,so that most production units are still waiting and skeptical about product selection and processing effects.In order to verify the practicality of these data processing software in the production of geographic information digital products and to summarize the process of production of drones in the industry,this experiment carried out photogrammetry and data processing in two areas of Changchun City(each with an area of about 0.8 square kilometers).The main work contents are as follows:(1)Adopting the scheme of " FEIMA-F300 UAV to field vertical photogrammetry + Pix4 DMapper software to data processing" to obtain the DOM of the experimental area and simultaneously output DSM;(2)Adopting the "HARWAR Eight-Rotor UAV to field oblique photogrametry + ContextCapture software to data processing" scheme to obtain the Real-word 3D model of the experimental area;(3)Using the EPS software to create a model for the above data processing results,and perform a DLG collection of 1:500 scale;(4)Summarize the relevant work processes and analyze the accuracy of relevant results;(5)Analyze and propose solutions to the problems that arise when the data collected by the EPS software is converted to the DWG format.The main results obtained in this paper are:(1)Summarize the workflow of using DOM,DSM,DLG and other products to produce related products;(2)Detecting the accuracy of related products:(1)The FEIMA-F300 UAV performs vertical photogrammetry with a resolution of 2.5 cm and 10 image points per kilometer,and the plane accuracy of the acquired DOM is 0.046 m;(2)The HARWAR Eight-Rotor UAV performs oblique photogrammetry with a resolution of 2.2cm and 9 image points per kilometer.The plane accuracy of the acquired 3D model is 0.115 m;(3)The plane accuracy of DLG obtained based on the above two methods is 0.053 m and 0.131 m respectively.(3)A solution to the shortcomings of EPS data conversion.Through analysis,the main conclusions obtained are as follows:(1)Pix4D Mapper software and ContextCapture software have high degree of data processing automation and the processing results are authentic and reliable;(2)The DLG based on the mapping mode provided by EPS has the advantages of simple operation mode,reproducible data check,accurate error data positioning and strong data precision guarantee,and the accuracy of the results depends mainly on the model accuracy.(3)The data conversion mechanism provided by EPS is generally perfect when the DWG format is transferred out,but there are certain disadvantages when the padding surface and the elevation point are transferred out.The solution proposed by the analysis and research can effectively solve the problem;(4)Comparing the two schemes "Vertical Photogrammetry — Making DOM with Pix4 DMapper — Editing DLG with EPS " and "Oblique Photogrammetry — Making a Real-world 3D Model with ContextCapture — Editing DLG with EPS ",the first scheme is more efficient than the second scheme in terms of image acquisition speed and data processing speed,and is more suitable for rapid production of DOM and DLG.
