The object of this study,Li Ruzhong,was born in Haichaohe Village,Dali Shangguan Town,and spent his teenage years in the Bai ethnic group society,and in his adult life,he studied,worked and lived in the mainstream cultural city.As an individual who has experienced a series of special events such as the Republic of China,the Anti-Japanese War,the founding of New China and the Great Leap Forward,the Cultural Revolution and so on,his personal life history is a reflection of China's 80-year history on the individual,a microcosm of a large history in a small person.Li Ruzhong's personal life history reveals the correlation between personal destiny and the social environment,cultural concept and ethnic background of the country in various historical periods.At the same time,this paper tries to explain the influence of dual culture on individuals through Li Ruzhong's personal life history.and the ethnic culture and Confucian culture together cast his outlook on life and values,affecting his life choices and personal development.As a minority individual who grew up in a marginal fishing village,Li Yuzhong has always tried to integrate himself into the mainstream cultural city and gain recognition,but at the same time,he is self-isolated and marginalized,his heart has always had a deeper understanding of the ethnic ties and geography,the concept of the same hometown,the concept of the homeland is deeply rooted in his heart.So that he is to some exteint separated from his own environment.Ethnic culture and mainstream culture accompanied by his life,in his body,both unity and contradictions,the dual culture model has always accompanied his life,while affecting his personal development and family life.
