Freshwater resources plays an important role in our daily life and social production.It's as significant as energy resources.With the development of science and technology,the water resource is polluted and destroyed.At the same time,with the rapid growth of the population,the demand for freshwater is increasing.Seawater desalination technology becomes more and more significant and therefore the research on it is becoming abundant.Thermal desalination is one of the most common seawater desalination methods of phase change desalination,but if we would like to obtain the pure water through the way using the secondary energy,that will cause the great waste of energy.Thus it will also make the pure water getting from saline water expensive.This paper taking the absorption heat transformer driven by solar energy to be as the heat source to heat the saline water,then obtain the pure water from it.At first,calculating the solar radiation and the available solar radiation one day,then choose one flat plate solar collector model,through the analyses we can get that the instant efficiency of the flat plate collector's dynamic regularity along with time.Secondly,through changing the evaporation temperature,condensation temperature,absorber temperature and generator temperature to do the analyses of the absorption heat transformers'COP and ?X(deflated coefficient),we know that when increasing the evaporation temperature and generator temperature,it will cause the enlargement of COP and AX,the thermal load of absorber will also increase and the increasing trend is slowing down;when increasing the condensation temperature and absorber temperature,it will cause the reduction of COP and ?X,the thermal load of absorber will also decrease and the decreasing trend is becoming large.In the end,a novel seawater desalination system is proposed,which consists of the solar flat plate collector system,absorption heat transformer and water production system.Do the exergy analyses of all the components and do the thermal efficiency and the exergy efficiency for the subsystems.From the results,we can get that the solar flat plate collectors have the largest exergy destruction,which is 44.2 kW.The average exergy efficiency of the solar flat plate collector system is 0.13,the average exergy efficiency of the absorption heat transformer system is 0.67 and the average exergy efficiency of the water production system is 0.74.The new seawater desalination system makes use of the waste heat of the condenser,through the analyses we can get that the average thermal efficiency of water production increases 12.9%,the average exergy efficiency increases 16.2%and the average water production increases 29.2%.When enlarging the water mass flow rate of the solar flat plate collector,the starting time retards,peak temperature appears in advance and decreases gradually.The thermal efficiency keeps a fixed value almost and exergy efficiency becomes largely.Enlarging the initial temperature of the water of the solar flat plate collector system does little effect for the performance of the system,but it will change the starting time of the absorption heat transformer.
