Taxonomy And Webs Diversity Analysis On The Cyclosa From China(Araneae: Araneidae)

In this study,the morphological and molecular phylogenetics methods were used to conduct a comprehensive study on the Arachnidae Cyclosa of China,at the same time,a preliminary analysis of the diversity of the spider webs of the Cyclosa were conducted.In terms of classification,45 species(37 known species,5 new species,3 species frist record from China)of the Cyclosa were divided into 8 groups in China.5 new species have been described in the dissertation: Cyclosa avicephalica sp.nov.,Cyclosa hamata sp.nov.,Cyclosa panjia sp.nov.,Cyclosa mengsong sp.nov.,Cyclosa emei sp.nov.;3 species frist record from China: Cyclosa kumadai Tanikawa,1992,Cyclosa baakea Barrion & Litsinger,1995,Cyclosa psylla Thorell,1887;2 new male discoveries: Cyclosa baakea Barrion & Litsinger,1995,Cyclosa koi Tanikawa & Ono,1993;3 synonymies were identified: Cyclosa argentata Tanikawa & Ono,1993 = Cyclosa bianchoria Yin et al.,1990,Cyclosa woyangchuan Zhang,Zhang & Zhu,2010 = Cyclosa kumadai Tanikawa,1992,Cyclosa bihamata Zhang,Zhang & Zhu,2010 = Cyclosa oculata(Walckenaer,1802).According to the difference of web stabilimentum,78 webs of 11 species of 6 species-groups were divided into 9 categories.It was initially concluded that there was no direct connection between the type of web stabilimentum and the species of Cyclosa.
