This paper analyzes the coupled relationship between the global atmospheric model and the dynamic process,based on the basic theory and research status of non-orographic gravity wave parameterization;meanwhile it uses the parallel computing framework in the global numerical weather forecasting model successfully.At last,the paper uses the T799 global spectrum model as a platform,and takes the stratospheric warming from 2012 to 2013 as an example.Four experimental schemes are designed to test the prediction effect of the WM96 scheme.The results show that S02 and WM96 can accurately capture the changes of the circulation situation,temperature and wind field during the Sudden Stratospheric Warming process.Compared to the Rayleigh frication scheme,the S02 and WM96 schemes have a significant deviation in the prediction of wind filed at 24 h and 72 h decrease,The forecasting effect of temperature field 24 h and 72 h is not illustrious,Although the forecast of temperature in the south hemisphere has been improved,but northern hemisphere is obviously high the truth.WM96 scheme has a same result with the S02 scheme.However,the WM96 scheme has improved the stratospheric circulation situation and some areas are closer to the real field.The forecast deviation is reduced in wind field and temperature field.And then the statistical test was carried out in January 2013.Compared with the S02 scheme,the anomaly correlation coefficient and the root mean square error of the potential height,temperature and wind of the WM96 scheme were significantly improved at 500 hPa,the eighth potential height and the seventh temperature anomaly correlation coefficient were increased to 0.6,indicating that the improvement effect is significant;The WM96 scheme is not very obvious at 100 hPa and 10 hPa.
