The effects of biochar and wood vinegar on the improvement of soil physical and chemical properties and the growth of crops were studied by setting different combinations of biochar and wood vinegar.In order to provide theoretical basis for the improvement of saline-alkali land and the efficient utilization of resources in Hetao irrigation area.The main conclusions are as follows:?1?The combination of biochar and wood vinegar can improve the physical and chemical indexes of soil obviously.The bulk density of surface soil decreased by 3.25%to 10.86%and the porosity of soil increased;Improve soil water holding capacity and soil temperature,and promote seed germination and crop growth;the combination of biochar and wood vinegar could significantly improve the contents of organic matter,available nitrogen,available potassium and available phosphorus in soil,and avoid the loss of soil organic matter,available nitrogen,available potassium and available phosphorus by reducing the dissolution and migration of available nutrients,and releasing them slowly and continuously.When the amount of biochar was 15t/hm2 and 30t/hm2,and the amount of wood vinegar?pH=3.2?was 300L/hm2,the compound effect is better than other treatments.?2?The suitable amount of biochar and wood vinegar can meet the effect of reducing salt and inhibiting salt accumulation in surface soil,and the application of wood vinegar can reduce the pH of soil.The improvement of non-growth period spring washing salt combined with the improvement agent can improve the desalination rate and meet the threshold requirement of crop salt in growth period.Spring irrigation showed that the total salinity leaching in 040 cm soil depth was all desalinated,60100 cm soil depth was all salt deposited,and the surface soil was better under the condition of biochar mixed with wood vinegar.?3?The combination of biochar and wood vinegar could significantly increase the plant height,stem diameter,root growth and dry matter accumulation,and has significant difference in yield components of sunflower,indicating that the effect of compound application is better than that of single amendment.When the amount of biochar was15t/hm2 and 30t/hm2,and the amount of wood vinegar was 300L/hm2,the yield could be increased by 19.82%?4?Biochar and wood vinegar can reduce the emission and intensity of greenhouse gas CO2,CH4 and N2O.Wood vinegar mainly affects gas emission by changing acidity and alkalinity.Wood vinegar affects gas emissions mainly by changing the pH.The reduction range was 38.63%to 68.20%.There was significant difference between all the treatments and the control group,which showed that using biochar and wood vinegar could reduce GWP.As a by-product of straw,biochar and wood vinegar can realize resource utilization.Reduce the risk of environmental and groundwater pollution,green development of sustainable agriculture.To comprehensively consider the physical and chemical properties of soil and crop index,as well as the economic and ecological benefits,it was concluded that proper combination of biochar and wood vinegar could play a better role,combined with irrigation and salt washing in non-growth period,the time of spring sink was mid-April.When the irrigation quota was 2250m3/hm2,the amount of biochar was 15t/hm2,and the amount of wood vinegar was 300L/hm2,the effect was better.
