Xiankeng-Huangtian uranium metallogenic area is located in the middle part of the Wuyishan polymetallic metallogenic belt,at the western edge of the abundant rich complex massif and in the east of the Hecaokeng ore field.The uranium metallogenic conditions in this area are good and the information of mineralization is abundant.It is an important ore prospecting area in the Hecaokeng orefield,and has a large potential for uranium resources.In the previous period,there were still some problems in some favorable locations for mineralization such as different understanding and incomplete exploration due to the limitations of working methods,technical conditions and other conditions as well as the complex uranium ore-controlling factors in the area and various types of mineralization.The distribution characteristics of radioactive fields for uranium mineralized spots could not be ascertained,and the exploration degree of deep uranium metallogenic space was relatively low.In order to solve the above problems,the paper relies on the project “Survey and evaluation on uranium ore in Xiankeng-Huangtian area in Huichang County,Jiangxi Province” for study development.Based on a comprehensive analysis for the uranium metallogenic background in this area,the three sites “Taipingdong-Huangtian,Shuikou and Yangmeishan-Longguqian” in the Xiankeng-Huangtian area where the workability was relatively low and the uranium metallogenic regularity was inconspicuous were taken as research objects;through the applied research on physical and chemical methods such as ground gamma spectrometry,soil poloium 210 measurements,audio-frequency magnetotellurics(AMT),soil radon measurements,ground high-precision magnetic measurements,etc.;the content background of uranium,thorium and potassium,distribution characteristics of radioactive field,control factors,and the change characteristics of deep apparent resistivity were analyzed comprehensively in the three favorable uranium ore-forming regions;and the relationship between them and uranium mineralization was analyzed to explore uranium mineralization characteristics,metallogenic regularity and uranium resource potential in the area,so as to provide a basis for delineating prospective ore body area for the use of general investigation.
