In recent years,extreme floods in China are very frequent.Reservoir dams cause great losses in human society.To simulate flood submergence range,water depth in some key basins where flood happened,and master the formation of flood disasters and loss assessment,it can provide support for reducing the impact of flood disasters.In order to accurately simulate the flood disaster and loss assessment,GIS technology is gradually introduced into the water conservancy industry.The previous GIS technology generally research in the simulated flood on the reference of two dimensional space,and can not accurately reflect,analyze and display the related information of the flood and loss assessment.Therefore,we need to study the 3D visualization of GIS in flood evolution simulation and loss assessment.It is of great significance to present the time,location,scope and intensity of flood disaster and the disaster loss assessment through the rapid,intuitive and effective visualization method.In this paper,based on the existing research results and GIS 3D simulation technology,the visualization application of GIS in flood evolution simulation and loss assessment is carried out.The research results can provide important basis for flood disaster emergency management,personnel property safety transfer,flood control and disaster reduction.The main research results are as follows:First,according to the data requirements of the three-dimensional visualization of flood evolution,this paper describes the principle of the two-dimensional hydrodynamic model equation.And this paper sums up the way to transfrom the calculation results of the hydrodynamic model into the data which can meet the need for the three-dimensional visualization of flood evolution.And it can solve the difficulties about the conversion from the calculation results of Mike.At the same time,this paper also discussed the 3D visualization method of flood routing,and it is concluded that the visualization of flood routing can be realized from two research directions of desktop and network terminals.Second,this paper lanches research on the three-dimensional visualization research of flood evolution from the desktop.Based on the ArcEngine components and the WPF platform of Microsoft graphics system,a flood simulation system about typical flood before and after the Three Gorges Project is developed.And this paper describes the key technology of loading and visualization of mass data in 3D visualization environment by ArcGlobe.The system has been built to realize the basic 3D scene control,interactive query of hydrological information and the control of flood evolution based on typical flood.Third,based on the flood range and water depth data obtained by the flood evolution model,this paper lanches research on loss assessment in flood.It analyzed the formation mechanism and attribute characteristics of flood disaster.The spatial distribution characteristics of flood disaster loss and the possible effect of GIS technology are analyzed.The calculation process of flood loss assessment based on GIS is presented,and the key technologies for spatial expansion of social economic data are expounded.The loss assessment and analysis work for the flood of the Han Bei River in 2016 has been realized.At the end of the paper,it lanches research on the three-dimensional visualization of the flood evolution and loss assessment based on WebGIS.Based on the scripting language named ArcGIS API for JS and ArcServer which can publish the service of the spatial data,the flood simulation and loss assessment system about the Han North River is developed.And this paper describes the key technology of building virtual 3D geographic environment for flood evolution and the principle of publishing geographic service.The system has been built to realize the roaming control of 3D scene,the query of water conservancy project data form the Han North River,the visualization of flood evolution and loss assessment by WebGIS.
