The Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite in eastern Tianshan,Xinjiang is located in the eastern section of the Tianshan orogenic belt and located on the southern edge of the ancient Asian Ocean in the tectonic position.It is a converging area of the Siberian plate and the Tarim plate.The geological structure is extremely complicated and it is an important metal mineralization belt in China.This article relies on the“Research of 1:50,000 Regional Geological Minerals in the Lubai Mountainous Area of Hami City in Xinjiang”and takes the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium-magnetite ore deposit as the research object.By systematically collecting the geological data of the predecessors,including geological and geophysical prospecting in the region,geochemical and remote sensing data and mining geological data,combining with detailed field geological survey work,regional geological background of the Xiaodao vanadium titanomagnetite,geological characteristics of the mine,geological characteristics of the ore deposits,rocks of the ore-bearing rock body and chemical composition of the ore,a similar study was conducted.At the same time,the gabbro bodies of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite were compared with the gabbro bodies in the Panzhihua area.The study showed that the metallogenic mechanism of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit and the Panzhihua vanadium-titanium magnetite the deposits are very similar.The ore-bearing rock mass of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite is controlled by the Achikkuduk deep fault zone and lies within the early Paleozoic continental margin of the Lubai Mountains south of the Achikkuduke fault.The ore-bearing rock mass is a set of calc-alkaline ferromagnesia basic rock with m/f ratio of 0.181.19 and an average value of 0.70,which is favorable for the magmatic rock of vanadium-titanium magnetite mineralization.The ore bodies are found in the coarse gabbro facies belts in the lower and middle gabbro bodies.The vanadium-titanium magnetite ore-bearing rock mass from the bottom to the upper part of the Xiaodao,SiO2 content gradually increased,MgO content decreased,indicating that from the bottom to the top,the basicity of rock mass decreased,the degree of crystal differentiation gradually becomes higher.The ore contents lower SiO2,rich in characteristics of Ti,Fe,Ca,P.Rock ores are relatively primitive to mantle,relatively enriched in large-scale ionic lithophile elements such as Rb,K,and Ba,and appear right-diagonal in the diagram of normalized rare-earth distribution diagrams of chondrites.The light rare earth elements,the depletion of heavy rare earth elements,the light and heavy rare earth fractionation are obvious,and there is a weak positive Eu anomaly,which belongs to the typical magmatic crystal type vanadium-titanium magnetite.The ore-bearing gabbro bodies of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite are mostly lenticular,and weak chlorite is visible near the contact zone with the granodiorite body.The ore types are mainly disseminated ores and massive ores.After field observation and microscopic identification,the ore structure mainly has a long-gray structure,a sponge-ferrite-iron structure and a granular mosaic structure.The metal minerals of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite mainly include magnetite,ilmenite,titanomagnetite and a small amount of limonite.The gangue minerals are pyroxene,basic plagioclase,olivine and a small amount of apatite.The mineralsaremostlyself-shaped-semi-automorphicgranularstructures,semi-automorphic-its granular structure and the order of mineral formation is:olivine,pyroxene,basic plagioclase--titanium magnetite,ilmenite,magnet Ore--apatite--chlorite--limonite.The main ore-controlling factors of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite are Neoproterozoic from the upper mantle,calc-alkaline ferromagnesia-based magma,Achikkuduk deep fault,and carbonate-rich Great Wall Department Xingxingxia,Group of surrounding rock,magma crystallization and so on.By combining the geological features of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit with the characteristics of regional remote sensing images and regional geophysical characteristics,a comprehensive descriptive model for geological exploration,mineralization,geophysics,and remote sensing of Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite was established.Through the study of the geological characteristics and prospecting model of the Xiaodao vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit,a systematic summary of the ore-forming rules of vanadium-titanium magnetite in this area is conducive to the further development of metallogenic prediction in the Hami region,and it is helpful to guide peripheral prospecting.
