Nowadays,ocean data buoy is a common observation device used by researchers to obtain marine environmental information,hydrological information,marine climate information and other environmental data.As the carrier of many internal measurement systems and communication systems,the rational design of the the external structure of the buoy body can enhance the performance of the buoy and extend the using life.To ensure the stability of the elements of each system inside,users often put forward strict requirements on the bouy's real-time attitude,motion state and the range of motion of the buoy.Therefore,the design with optimizing shape is of great importance to the stability of the buoy.To improve the stability of the buoy,a new type of buoy with small incline angle is designed in this paper.During the design,the concept of small water surface is used.A new design idea for improving the structural stability of buoy using a buoyancy reserve and an auxiliary buoyancy reserve module is proposed.Therefore Therefore,a high stability buoy with a small water surface was designed.To determine the dimensions of each part of the structure,this paper uses the ship theory calculation method and AQWA fluid simulation software simulation method,calculates and compares the differences between the hydrodynamic performance,chooses the best stability as the final Structural optimization design.Meawhile,the force of the buoy with small incline angle in waves is studied in detail.Through stress analysis,the strength of the buoy structure is calculated and checked,then the design scheme is improved.Finally,experimental protoctypes are made according to the geometric similarity criterion to verify that the buoy structure with small waterline surface can exhibit good stability.The response of buoy structures to different periodic waves at fixed wave height is measured,as well as the response attributing to the change of wave amplitude changing.Comparing experimental data and simulation results,and finally reaching a conclusion:The design scheme of buoy stability studied in this paper can show good stability,as well as has guiding significance and reference value for the same type of buoy design.
