China has a broad continental shelf off the coast.Complex circulatory flows bring abundant tidal energy resources.There is tremendous potential for the development of power generation in our country.Due to the complexity of the oceans,the supporting structure needs to be tested from the environmental factors such as wind,waves,ice and ships.Therefore,the design of the supporting structure of the tidal current generator is a key step in the design of the whole unit.The design rationality of supporting structure has a direct impact on power generation safety and construction cost.Since different regions require different types and sizes of support structures to meet the conditions of support,it is important to design an efficient way to address the needs.The paper is based on "2 × 300kW tidal current generator design" project,and the type of support structure of tidal current generator set near the muddy seabed near Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province is analyzed.The type of three-pipe pile supporting structure is selected as the research object,and the design method of support structure(tower-foundation)and safety assessment method are given.The wave load characteristics are studied,the wave power calculation is made by deducing the formula,and the wave force is simulated with the measured wave parameters.In this paper,a SACS-Bladed joint design method is proposed.By using the specialty of the two kinds of software and the characteristics of interworking,a fast and effective support structure design and optimization is proposed.SACS modeling and load checking were carried out,and the first structural optimization was carried out by strength analysis.The detailed design was carried out with the Bladed multi-condition fast simulation capability.The condition-load generator condition table was loaded and simulated.The modal and Ultimate strength analysis for the second structural optimization.If the structure does not meet the safety assessment,then repeat the above steps,and finally get the optimal model.Practice shows that this method is a feasible and efficient design method.
