Periodic fluctuations of tides is the flow of water in the horizontal direction forms tidal currents.Due to the seabed topography,strong tidal currents will be formed between islands and straits under the action of tidal force.The kinetic energy carried by tidal currents,namely tidal energy,is a cycle.Renewable resources of sexual change.As an important coastal province in my country,Zhejiang Province has the highest tidal energy resources in the coastal provinces of the country.Among them,the Zhoushan sea area and the Hangzhou Bay sea area have most of Zhejiang's tidal energy resources,especially some of the waterways in the Zhoushan Islands are national coastal tidal currents.The sea area with the highest energy power density is the most ideal area for the development and utilization of coastal tidal energy in the country.The development and utilization of tidal energy is of great significance to the continuous protection of energy supply and reasonable optimization of the energy structure in the Zhoushan waters.In order to more accurately evaluate the tidal energy resources in the Zhoushan waters,a high-precision marine numerical simulation is carried out in the Zhoushan waters.This paper is based on the SCHISM ocean model to conduct long-term,high-precision three-dimensional ocean numerical simulation in the Zhoushan waters.The mode ranges from 120.37 o E?124.48 o E,28.34 o N?34.30 o N.The time step of the mode is set to 120 s,the simulation time starts from August 1,2019 to October 4,2020,and the running time is430 weeks in total.After taking 360 days to estimate tidal current energy,there are 125702 grid points in the simulation area and 242526 triangular grids.The seabed topography and water depth data come from the electronic chart of the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China.Based on the verified simulation results of the SCHISM numerical model,the tidal energy resources in the Zhoushan sea area are evaluated,and the tidal current velocity,energy flow density,content and available hours of development and utilization in the Zhoushan sea area are analyzed.It is found that the main tidal energy in the Zhoushan sea area is concentrated in the Luotou waterway.,Xihoumen Waterway,Guanmen Waterway,Guishan Hangmen and Jintang Waterway and other 5 sea areas.Combining tidal current energy resources with local water depth and topography conditions,construction feasibility,regional marine functional zoning and other tidal current power generation site selection conditions,proposed two potential sites for tidal current power generation sites on the northwest side of Xihoumen waterway and the south side of Zieluoshan sea area.Based on the Farm method and the Flux method to evaluate the tidal energy resources of the two site selections,the tidal energy resources in the sea area north of Xihoumen can be developed from 11.34 MW to 54.07 MW,and the tidal energy resources of the potential site selection area on the south side of Ruoshan Mountain Resources can be developed26.21 MW ?165.41 MW.
