Study On Land Use And Landscape Pattern Change In Western Liaoning Province

Coastal zone has become an integral part of contemporary economic development.It has unique geographical location and advantaged natural resources.The industrial structure of western Liaoning Province is dominated by industry.They have a glorious history after the founding of China.But in recent years,due to over-exploitation of resources,industrial overcapacity and other problems,the economy is slowing down.Therefore,researching land use and landscape pattern change of coastal zone in western Liaoning Province has great significance to rational plan of land,protect marine resources and achieve sustainable economic development.This paper use remote sensing technology to process remote sensing data in 2005 and 2015,and the DEM data,using visual interpretation and reference field verification results,extracting the land use types.After that,it statistics classification results and calculate the landscape index,in order to dynamically compare the land use and landscape pattern change in the research area.At the same time,the gradient analysis method was introduced to study the effect of gradient factors on land use and landscape pattern change from two aspects of sea and land gradient and elevation gradient.In this paper,through the remote sensing information extraction and GIS analysis methods,it found that from 2005 to 2015,712.96 km2 of the study area has been changed,which accounts for 12.21% of the study area.The area of cultivated land,forest land,coastal wetland and coastalwaters has reduced,and grassland,construction land,inland wetland and artificial wetland area has increased.The area that has been transferred out most is the coastal waters,reaching 38.26% of the total,which partly reflects human activities moving towards the sea,and the development and utilization of Marine resources are gradually increasing.From the perspective of the transfer,the amount of land transferred to the construction land accounted for 37.54% of the total change.It reflected the increasing of urbanization and urban expansion.Through the analysis of landscape pattern changes,it found that the landscape fragmentation has increased,the landscape patch boundary become more and more complex,the structure of proportion of each land use type is balanced development,land use type distribution develop towards diversity and homogeneity,the landscape stability has been enhanced.From the perspective of the gradient,the closer to the ocean,the more dramatic the land use changed.Cultivated land,inland wetlands,coastal wetlands,and coastal waters are evidently affected by the ocean;human activities extend in the direction of ocean.The higher the elevation is,the less the human disturbance to the land.
