The Cuola mining area of spodumene is the famous west section of the Jiajica ultra-large spodumene deposit, over the years, people had conducted systematic research on systems of the ore-forming age,the characteristics of diagenesis and ore-forming fluids, the formation mechanism of deposits, and the metallogenic models in the eastern section of the pegmatite type deposit(such as No.134 vein and X03 vein).,while the relatively level of research on its western ore(Cuola mining area of spodumene)is low.Nowadays,China has abundant rare metal reserves. However, with the current rare metal mining, especially with the continuous development of electric vehicles and lithium power industry,China?s demand for spodumene will continue to increase. The Cuola mining area of spodumene is located at a distance of approximately 38 km from the northeastern direction of Yajiang County,Sichuan Province, the government is governed by Xinwei Village,Murong Township,Yajiang County, geographical coordinates are 101°13?15??-101°15?00?? east longitude and 30°15?15??-30°18?00?? north latitude, the mining area is located on the southeastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau,at an elevation of 4100 to 4820 m,and the terrain generally has a slope of 15 to 35 degrees. The ice erosion lake develops and belongs to the ice-eroded hilly terrain,it is a typical rare metal granite pegmatite deposit. This paper is base on the“Exploration Project in the Cuola mining area of spodumene Yajiang County,Sichuan Province” in which I fully participated and which is invested by the Sichuan Tianqi Shenghe Lithium Limited company and is responsible for the implementation by the geology and Mineral Exploration and Development Bureau of Sichuan Province 108 geological team.Through in summary of previous studies on the pegmatite type rare metal ore and the collection of relevant data and a large number of detailed geological work in the field,I chose a Cuola spodumene deposit as a research object and find out the spatial distribution relationship between ore bodies, surrounding rocks, structures and magmatic rocks in the mining area.Through the indoor detailed analysis of wafers and samples, the ore-bearing characteristics of the ore body and the main components and structural features of the ore are basically ascertained, and the geological features and genesis of the deposit in the mining area is preliminary discussed, and provide ideas to find this kind of spodumene deposit. The Cuola mining area of spodumene is located in the Yajiang Tectonic-magmatic metamorphic rock group of the central fold of the passive continental margin of the Yajiang River in the middle of the Songpan-Ganzi orogenic belt.Due to the stretching effect in the late Songpan-Ganzi orogenic belt, there is a shallow "hot-run" extensional structure caused by the uplift of the deep-melt granite body centered on the ascending. The main structural traces in the formation area are vault, and form multiple vaults such as Jiajika vault.Since late Paleozoic, with the occurrence of orogeny, the magmatic action is strong, and the formed monzonitic granite body provides a material source for the mineralization of rare minerals,,ore-forming diagenesis and ore-forming fluid mainly comes from the crystallization differentiation of granitic magma,is mainly produced in the late stage of magma diapir and uplift,it is controlled by a shearing space with a good sealing condition on the western side of the dome body. The shape of veins is relatively complicated and large differences in scale, mainly lenticular,vein-like,branch-composite reticulate,Lithium vein pattern determined by pegmatite veins, its tendency is West tilt-North West tilt, the tendency a few veins are South East tilt-South tilt, the inclination of veins is steeper.
