The application of cylindrical electromagnetic scattering by uniaxial bianisotropic medium with cylindrical vector wave function is mainly studied.Based on the analytical solution of cylindrical electromagnetic scattering of uniaxial bianisotropic medium, the electromagnetic scattering of uniaxial bianisotropic cylindrical shell and coated uniaxial bianisotropic conductor cylinder is studied.Details involves the following aspects:1.Solving of the analytical solution from cylindrical electromagnetic scattering in uniaxial bianisotropic medium.Based on the Maxwell equations, the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the differential equations of electromagnetic field are solved by using the Fourier transform. And then the eigenvalues are used to convert the required infinite integrals into eigenvalues. The analytical solutions of the electromagnetic fields and the expressions of the incident and scattered fields are derived by introducing the vector functions of the cylinder. The equations of summation of the TE wave incident and TM wave incident can be get from the boundary conditions which the surface electric field and the magnetic field of the dielectric cylinder. The equations are written as matrix form.Numerical calculation is analyzed by the given radar scattering width expression.2.Study on electromagnetic scattering characteristics of uniaxial bianisotropic medium coated conductor cylindrical and uniaxial bianisotropic medium cylindrical shells. The series summation equations of incident TE and TM wave can be get from the three condition: 1.the analytical solution of electromagnetic scattering by a cylinder with uniaxial bianisotropic medium;2.the expressions of the incident electric field and scattering field in space;3.the boundary conditions of electromagnetic field. The equations are different because of the different boundary conditions of the uniaxial bianisotropic conductor column and the uniaxial bianisotropic cylinder shell.the uniaxial bianisotropic cylinder shell is more complicated. The equations are written as a matrix, the scattering coefficients can be calculated in a matrix form.Numerical calculation is analyzed by the given radar scattering width expression.
