Homework and examinations are important methods to check the quality of students' learning.The existing mechanics online homework and examination system is mostly based on multiple-choices and fill-in-the-blanks,although there is a mechanical calculation,it's still a multiple-choice that lists several results.In order to provide more mechanical exercises for student,and save the time teachers spend on homework-marking,grade-entry,and paper-marking.Using solution approach of Material Mechanics,and referring to the design model of current main online homework and examination system.Carring out the research and programming for online homework and examination system of material mechanics.Specifically,this article has conducted research on the following three aspects.(1)Matlab is employeed to design an executable algorithm program with the matrix displacement method,Multiple vectors are defined to store the common types of bearings,the cross-section of rods and the form of loads,etc,Creating different types of questions through random combination.At the same time,preparing a general drawing program to draw schematic diagrams of loads,structures and constraints related to mechanics topics.The system calls the executable program to form a specified amount of mechanical topics,mechanical problems,answers,and structural diagrams,then dumping the results of program execution to the MySql database autonomously.(2)Referring to the domestic existing design patterns of which homework systems on mechancis,Django framework is utilized to design the educational management system,in order to arrange mechanical courses and students' information.Teacher management system is designed to assign mechanical homework or examinations;Homework training subsystem is established for on-line-tranning of mechanics;Mechanical testing subsystem is programed to provide a platform for mechanical online examinations.(3)In combination with the previous two steps,an initial prototype of online homework and examination system of Material Mechanics was established.Taking the problems of rods,shafts,beams and their components as examples,online-solutions,procedural corrections and calculations and drawing structural internal one by one.Validating the feasibility of online homework and examination system of Material Mechanics.This system has initially formed a mechanical topic library for the tension and compression module,twisting module and bending module,providing a certain reference to the complete establishment for online homework and examination system of Material Mechanics.
