Research Of High-temperature Superconducting MgB₂ Magnet

As a new high-tech technology,the superconducting technology has stepped into human’s lives.Whether in electric power,transportation field or in medical,military field,all was widely use.But for the most use of the superconducting technology,it is due to the superconducting magnets.The domestic previous studies like focus on the low temperature superconducting（LTS）,and few people focus on the research of the magnet which made by the high temperature superconducting materials,because the high temperature superconducting materials have more difficulty than the low temperature superconducting materials in making a magnet,it needs more technical supporting.However,the high temperature superconducting both in property and practical value are very significative in science research.The paper designed and made the MgB₂ superconducting magnet,concluded the research results by the experiment and testing as follows:（1）We designed a new type of winding machine for MgB₂ wire winding,which solve the problem successfully about how to avoid the bending MgB₂ materials.（2）We came cross the trouble about the impregnation which was with so low thermal conductivity and canning not rewind by designing a new kind of impregnating skills.（3）By changing the regulating the adiabatic film layers,thickness,density and vacuum conditions,we successfully solve the problem about thermal radiation and heat leakage.
