In the framework of an effective modulation potential model based on the structure feature of layered superconductors with conduction layers alternating with nonconduction layers , we have extended the electron-phonon coupling superconductivity theory for isotropic homogeneous systems to the case for the anisotropic inhomogeneous and obtained fermi energy, density of states and energy gap equation. At last, we have deduced superconductivity critical temperature Tc expression of effective modulation potential model.By using of the theory result to analyze a new superconductor MgB2,we have gotten the critical temperature of MgB2 is 34K. It is good agreement with experimental results.
