The Synchrotron radiation facility is a large-scale and multidisciplinary research facility,supporting the national frontier research.Now,it has become an indispensable experiment platform in multidisciplinary research field.The Synchrotron radiation facility has three parts: light source,beam line and experiment stations.The X-ray detector is one of the most important devices of the experiment stations.It is used for the detection of the X-ray intensity and the beam position diagnostics.This thesis focus on the development of polycrystalline CVD diamond detector for synchrotron radiation X-ray diagnosis.The diamond detector in this thesis is a transparent detector with four quadrant electrodes,which can be located between light source and experimental sample.It can record the synchrotron radiation intensity and beam position at the same time.Meanwhile,it provides feedback information for the beam diagnostic.The four-quadrant with 100 nm thickness Al electrodes and 20?m inter-gap is fabricated by photolithography.Then the detector was mounted onto a PCB board for the testing.The properties of the diamond detector are carried out at the Bio-Macromolecule beamline of Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility(BSRF,1W2B).The test results show that the dark current of the detector is 20 pA at the 10 V working voltage.The ohmic contact could be formed between the metal and the diamond surface in the voltage range from-20 V to 20 V.In addition,the measurements accuracy of X-ray intensity is about 0.2% and the position resolution of the detector has been achieved by 1?m.The performance tests have shown that this detector could meet the requirements of synchrotron radiation beam diagnostic.
