In this paper, we studied the synthesis process and mechanism properties of using diamond compressor to synthesize polycrystalline diamond compact. First used diamond compressor of 320mm diameter cylinder synthesize two 13-8 polycrystalline diamond compact in domestic. We also studied the mechanical properties and its influence factor by use SEM, XRD, three-point blending, Vickers hardness in the following areas of study and gained some results.1. In the process of using diamond compressor of 320mm diameter cylinder synthesized two 13-8 polycrystalline diamond compact. Combined synthetic principle, we found that when synthesis block l0 =37mm long, performance and sealed from the consumption of synthesis pressure. PDC press block was placed by polycrystalline layer relative, and nip a mica flake in the middle. Salt pipe and salt flake made of high purity salt were combined and placed around the carbon pipe. That can substantially reduce the influence of pressure and temperature distributed unevenly during synthesis process.2. By adding two different bond, SiC and Co, and different size of the original powder, we synthesized 13-8 PDC, combined the mechanical properties test method set up a new one to the PDC general mechanical properties(such as bending strength, tensile strength and compressive strength, Fracture toughness, etc.)3. By comparative analyzing the test result of PDC mechanical properties, found that PDC mechanical properties were accretion along with polycrystalline grains minishing. Researches show: the grains size polycrystalline layer was an important factor influencing polycrystalline diamond composite mechanical properties.4. Observing the change rule of polycrystalline grains by SEM, found that there were four factors influencing polycrystalline grains: the original powder grain size, synthesis pressure, synthesis temperature, synthesis time.
