According to China's basic national condition that we are facing with the enormous pressure for energy demand and the constraints on energy supply,we must keep up with the new trends of international energy revolution for more effective and rational resources usage.Facing with the upcoming deep-sea mineral resources strategy competition,we need an urgent breakthrough on China's deep-sea mining technology for reserves and development. Therefore,we must accelerate the research on deep-sea mining technology of engineering applications. This paper is based on the 12 th Five-Year Guideline "development and integration of polymetallic nodule collection system for sea trial".Issue which requires for research on path planning and dynamic behavior for the lake trial and the overall linkage sea test and horizontal acquisition characteristics,a simulation model of 135 m fully hose mining system is established to study the dynamic behavior characteristics of deep sea mining system, and to provide the appropriate reference for the development of offshore test.Firstly, considering the complexity of the marine environment, the loads on the whole system are analyzed and properly simplified.Based on the rigid multi-body discrete element theory, the modeling of full hose deep-sea mining system is realized by using virtual prototype simulation technology;Secondly,The appropriate continuous buoyancy arrangement and the proper distance between the ship and the ore collector are determined through simulation analysis; Finally,The planning of Linkage scheme of mining system under horizontal mining mode and three traveling paths, including square wave, triangle and sinusoidal wave to investigate the influence of the parameters such as the speed of ore collector and the width of transverse acquisition on the dynamic behavior of the system. The simulation results show that:(1)The horizontal linkage method of the full-hose deep-sea mining system is practicable.During the simulation process, the system maintains stable synchronous motion, meanwhile the delivery hose maintains a good spatial configuration under the traction of the ship without obvious deflection or twist which provides favorable conditions for the transportation of ore;(2)In order to satisfy the safety requirements of mining machine, the design of appropriate distance between ship and collector and the continuous buoyancy hose arrangement form single arch structure to keep the hose space configuration under the overall linkage mode;(3)In the given path wave runs, the sine wave path is more suitable for the development of mining machine which the steady of dynamic characteristics change and fluctuations convenient for the operation and control of the system.
