ZY-3 satellite has obtained the nation-wide three linear array stereo image and multispectral image data.Compare to the previous resource satellite data,ZY-3 data has a lot of quality improvement in terms of image quality and geometric positioning accuracy.ZY-3 DSM production is based on ZY-3 image and related key technologies and has high resolution,high accuracy and good real-time.It can be used widely and provide high precision reference maps for other ground processing systems of high resolution optical remote sensing satellite.But there are some quality defects in ZY-3 DSM:there will be some convex or concave diamond areas in some data,which is caused by the boundary stack;some areas do not have valid elevation values,because the original images of these areas are covered with clouds or snow,lacking of alternative high quality data.The presence of these abnormal areas greatly reduce the overall quality and accuracy of ZY-3 DSM.In this paper,a set of relatively perfect quality control mechanism is provided to ensure the feasibility of abnormal area filling.And the exploration of method to fill and repair the abnormal area of ZY-3 DSM automatically on the premise of ensuring accuracy is the focus of this paper.This paper introduces the characteristics of the ZY-3 satellite,and expounds in detail the automatic generation process of ZY-3 DSM and key technologies of it.The paper puts forward a set of relatively perfect quality control mechanism which covers the automatic production of ZY-3 DSM.To confirm abnormal areas of ZY-3 DSM,the region growing algorithm is introduced,containing its concept,the method of selecting the seed points and the growth rules.In terms of small range abnormal area filling,the principle and characteristics of spatial interpolation and some frequently used DSM spatial interpolation methods are presented.To fill big range abnormal area,the paper gives an overview of the ASTER GDEM,and studies the algorithms of resampling,local elevation difference correction and histogram matching.These provide a theoretical basis for the experiment.Through empirical research,the following results and conclusions are obtained:the quality control mechanism,which is related to data source selection,automatic production and production detection,can be used to make sense of abnormal area filling of ZY-3 DSM;the method of abnormal area filling in automatic production of ZY-3 DSM is feasible.The abnormal area filling makes accuracy of the abnormal area reach the expected requirements.The overall quality ZY-3 DSM has been improved because of this.Besides,ZY-3 DSM becomes more aesthetically pleasing.The generation of complete and high precision ZY-3 DSM shows appropriate representativeness and is helpful to the study of various disciplines.The study of this paper is conducive to improve the overall quality of ZY-3 DSM,and can provide some experience and theoretical basis for further research on the abnormal area filling in DSM and production of reference map which has high precision and high quality.
