Planning Design And Engineering Application Research On Seawater Desalination System Of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant

As a clean,safe and reliable energy,the operation of nuclear power plants needs a large amount of water.Seawater desalination,a new way to get fresh water,is of great significance to solve the problem.In recent years,seawater desalination has made progress toward technical and economic maturity that it has played a more and more important role in coastal water resource sutilization and gradually been put into use in coastal nuclear power plants.In this article,we take Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant as an example to analyze the planning design and engineering application of seawater desalination system and summarize the experience.Proceeding from site and reactor type selection of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant,this article introduces the technology of AP1000 nuclear power plant and analyzes its advanced features.Then,through analyzing the process of circulating water system of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant,we studies the role of fresh water in the nuclear power plant operation and the ways to get fresh water.And then,through the comparative analysis of several schemes of desalination technology,we discuss the desalination technical solution of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant,including technical merits and economical efficiency,and explain its system engineering process and characteristics in detail.What's more,we analyze the common manufacture and installation issues and solutions of some important equipments in the seawater desalination system,such as coagulation sedimentation tank equipment,v-shaped filter equipment,pump,blower,horizontal sand filter,reverse osmosis energy recovery device and reverse osmosis devices,to provide reference for subsequent similar projects.At the end of the article,based on the practice,we provide a brief introduction to some other manufacture and installation issues of Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant seawater desalination system,hoping subsequent similar projects can be optimized and improve efficiency as far as possible to provide better response to the slogan “quality first,safety first".
