Study On The Characteristics And Prevention Regionalization Of Geological Hazards In Lichuan County

Lichuan County,which is located at the western foot of Wuyi Mountains where geological disasters occur frequently,is one of the 8 counties suffering from the most serious geological disasters in Jiangxi Province.In the past,rainfall was the main inducing factor of geological disasters in this region,and main hazards included landslide,collapse and debris flow.However,with social and economic developing,human engineering activities become more and more frequent and obviously exert an increasingly inducing effect on geological disasters.In recent years,with the combined impacts of heavy rainfall and human engineering activities,geological disasters in this region have tended to be frequent and severe.Regional and systematic research on geological disasters in Lichuan,which figures out the distribution and development characteristics of geological disasters,can minimize and prevent losses of disasters,provide the local government with scientific suggestion on disaster prevention and reduction,and protect people's life and property safety.Therefore,the implementation of research on geological disaster characteristics and prevention and zoning in Lichuan ispractically important and necessary.This thesis focuses on the geological disasters in Lichuan County as the study object.Data collection and field survey are conducted to figure out the distribution features,development characteristics,formation conditions and influencing factors of geological disasters in the region.The analytic hierarchy process and the GIS statistical analysis method are applied to divide the researched region into area susceptible to geological disasters,area vulnerable to geological disasters and area under risk of geological disasters.Finally,the division of geological disaster prevention&control and the division of meteorological warning in the research region are obtained and reasonable prevention&control measures and suggestions are proposed.Compared with the past research,evaluation research on the township of geological disasters is good for conducting the prevention and control measures in each town.In this research,we developed the geological hazard warning zones,combining the meteorological forecast with early warning of geological disasters,which can strengthen the linkage among all related departments in the work of prevention and control of geological disasters.The results of the research provide scientific support to the government of Lichuan County to carry out prevention and control of geological disasters.
