As more and more commodities have the characteristics of perishable goods, the flexibility of the supply chain of perishable goods is particularly important in dealing with the increasingly complex market environment and maintaining its competitive position. The perishable product,as a special commodity with long production cycle, short product life cycle, and uncertain market demand, increases the difficulty of supply chain flexibility in the supply chain of perishable goods, and it is not conducive to the purchaser’s supply to suppliers’select.Based on the characteristics of perishable products, this paper models the flexibility and time flexibility characteristics of a supply chain of a secondary perishable product.Based on this,it studies how buyers choose different supplier strategies. The details are as follows:First, this article Based on the existing researches,it is pointed out that in the event of declining demand, the purchaser will tend to ordering small batches and multiple batches of easiness products in order to avoid the increase of inventories;that is,the lowest order specified by the supplier will be lower than that specified by the supplier. The quantity and the shortest lead time strategy are used for ordering, and there are two options:abandon the sales of the product in the current period;or pay the corresponding penalty to obtain less income.By introducing the QLost and TLost variables, considering the various options of the purchaser, the application scope of the flexible model is extended. The analysis of the example shows that QLost and Qmin are negatively correlated with the supply chain flexibility;the maximum order quantity is positively correlated with the supply chain flexibility;the lead time related parameters are negatively correlated with the supply chain flexibility.Secondly, starting from the flexibility of quantity and flexibility of lead time,a model is established based on the total cost of flexible products in the supply chain of perishable goods. This provides a means for buyers to select suppliers, and at the same time,it is validated by example analysis and supplied from perishable goods. The chain total cost model sums up the conditions that make up the supplier selection strategy. From the simplified calculation of the flexible total cost model of the perishable product supply chain,it can be concluded that Qmin and Tmin are the key factors that reduce the total cost of flexibility. Finally, the flexibility of the supply chain of perishable goods brings benefits at the same time that the cost is needed. For the flexible level of the supply chain of perishable goods,it is not necessarily the higher the better. When the flexibility value is low,the high flexibility level often means high.Flexible cost.Only balancing costs and benefits can reflect the value of flexibility.Based on the flexible analysis of the supply chain of perishable goods, this paper puts forward the corresponding supplier selection strategy,in order to properly improve the flexible level of the supply chain of perishable goods, and to provide reference for relevant enterprises’decision-making.
