As a great Marxism revolutionist in Cuba,Fidel Castro(hereafter will be abbreviated Castro)had not only made an important contribution for Cuban socialist construction and development, but also proposed unique perspectives and opinions to the current globalization. The thought of Castro's socialist globalization was originated from Marx's discussion on world history and globalization. The adverse effects of capitalist globalization on the third world countries and the disadvantageous position of Cuba in the capitalist globalization were the realistic foundations of Castro's thought of socialist globalization.Castro thought that current globalization which was dominated by developed capitalist countries for snatching the third world countries' interests was the neo-liberal globalization and it was the source of unjust international order in politics and economy and its result was global economic failure and social catastrophe.Castro opposed the neo-liberal globalization which was implemented privation blindly and relied on the market to solve all problems. And he also opposed the control of globalization with imperialism at the core of American hegemony.Castro thought that the capitalist globalization destroyed production rather than prompted production. With the development of history and the progress of productivity, the capitalist globalization which was led by neo-liberalism would be replaced by the socialist globalization inevitably. It was determined by the essential attribute of socialist globalization. The socialist globalization should be guided by Marx's thought of globalization, based on fair and just international order, aimed in promoting the sustainable common development of all human beings and the harmonious symbiosis between man and nature and it would promote common development and benefit all countries in the world. So,the third world countries should unite to overthrow the old international political and economic order and establish a new order of fairness and justice and promotethe construction of socialist globalization with the construction of socialist countries in economic, politics, culture and society.Castro also proposed that it was unrealistic to make socialist globalization replace neo-liberal globalization through violent revolutions or massive wars and a global catastrophic crisis would make it possible for socialist globalization to replace neo-liberal globalization.Castro's discussion about globalization not only had important academic value on prompting the development of world socialist movement and developing Marxist theory, but also had important referential significance for developing countries to deal with the impact of globalization.Castro's thought was excessively focused on the criticism of neoliberal globalization while its positive influence was ignored and lacked constructive strategies of substituting socialist globalization for neo-liberal globalization.
