The Research Of Industry-University-Institute Project Stakeholders’ Relationships Network

Market competition is becoming more and more fierce with the rapid development of science and technology,in this context,Industry-University-Institute(IUI)project which demands multi-party cooperation becomes the most effective carrier of continuous innovation.However,high failure rates and low achievement conversion rates have long been existed in IUI project,many scholars did abundant researches from the system level and element level of IUI project to solve the problems but it’s still difficult to change that.Related studies have pointed out that IUI project involved multiple project stakeholders which are linked to each other tightly,and this relationship would change over the life cycle of the project,thus constituting a dynamic network of social relationship.Therefore,we studied the relationships network among the stakeholders of IUI project from static analysis and dynamic evolution mechanism in this paper,aiming at providing solid guarantees for the effective governance of the IUI project both in theory and practice.Main research contents in this article are as follows:1.The literature researches of the relevant IUI project concepts,project governance,stakeholders’ relationships and social networks have been comprehensively analyzed,during the process,we found that the static study of stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project was dispersed and disunity,what is more,the researches to the dynamic inner mechanism of stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project were incomplete,which seems to be consistent in the study how to effectively promote the evolution of stakeholders’ relationships network.2.On the basis of the literature researches,the stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project which were defined from the aspects of static in advance,were built by the following steps: selection of network expression,process of network building and the determination of network relationships and network nodes.And we put forward that the static analysis of the relationships network should be devided into two aspects: stakeholders’ individual network characteristics and network structure characteristics.3.Twelve driving factors of the stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project were summed up by carding related literatures from the perspective of dynamic network.On this basis,using Exploratory Factor Analysis refining three driving dimensions: Attributes Driving,Interactive Driving and Environment Driving to construct dynamical evolution model of the stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project,and Structural Equation Modeling was applied to verify and amend the model based on questionnaire data.The results showed that there were significant and positive effect between three driving dimensions and evolution of the stakeholders’ relationships network of IUI project,in which Interactive Driving had the most important impacts,and Attributes Driving and Environment Driving had positive impacts on Interactive Driving.Finally,some targeted management revelations were also put forward.
