With the continuous improvement of international status of China and the increasing frequent exchanges with the world here,as an important part of trade in services,inbound tourism has an important impact on promoting the overall development of tourism,enhancing the level of opening up the region and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the industry.However,for a long time,the tourism industry has shown a serious regional non-balanced development trend.How to scientifically reduce the differences in the development of tourism in various scale areas and promote the development of regional tourism in a comprehensive and sustainable way is one of the urgent problem which should be solved as soon as possible in the rapid rise of China's tourism industry.The study of regional differences in tourism economy focuses on the macro scale,yet for micro scale is few,and also,the analysis of the spatial impact is insufficient.This study,focuses on the use of spatial analysis methods to explore the regional differences the inbound tourism economy as well as the characteristics of its development in Guangdong Province,which shows important theoretical and practical significance.By analyzing the development of inbound tourism economy in Guangdong Province,this study makes an objective understanding of the general characteristics and spatial distribution of regional differences in Guangdong Province.Taking the tourism foreign exchange earnings of 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province from 2006 to 2015,the following conclusions are drawn through using static index and spatial analysis:(1)The absolute regional difference of the inbound tourism economy of Guangdong Province is expanding,yet the relative regional difference is narrowing;(2)The global spatial autocorrelation of the inbound tourism economy in Guangdong Province has been increasing year by year,and there is a significant positive correlation after 2013.The results show that Guangdong Province's inbound tourism economy has a significant positive correlation,(3)There is obvious polarization phenomenon in the development of inbound tourism economy in Guangdong Province,and the inbound tourism economy of the Pearl River Delta is ahead of the surrounding cities.The phenomenon that development level of inbound tourism economy of some cities is low,and the development of their surrounding cities is also low,which is very significant in the western and northeastern cities of Guangdong.The development of inbound tourism economy of Dongguan City and Huizhou City is rapidly,the growth rate of Zhongshan City,lagging behind the surrounding prefecture-level cities,the inbound tourism economic development of Maoming City and Meizhou City and the surrounding prefecture-level city is slow.The factors of inbound tourism in Guangdong Province include economic development level,tourism resource endowment,tourism service facilities,opening level,location and traffic conditions.According to this,the following policy recommendations are proposed in this paper:(1)prefecture-level cities-to identify their own tourism development orientation;(2)regional cooperation-tourism development cooperation model;(3)Guangdong Province-to strengthen the province's tourism industry overall planning.Innovation:(1)a combination of static and spatial analysis of tourism economic regional differences;(2)the use of spatial analysis methods used in the micro-level tourism economic regional differences in research;(3)refine the Guangdong Province inbound tourism economic region differences.
